🫣 Does getting raw + vulnerable look like this?
Even if it's in itty bitty baby steps?

I wonder if vulnerability can also look like celebration?
Because…
I’m finally getting raw + real on social media…
After only a handful of postings in the past 20 years!
Hey, Amaya here!
I often encourage my loved ones and community to celebrate the small things. The little wins. The baby steps.
So today I’m celebrating mine!
My healing practice has always been referral-only. And what I do is not something we’re really “allowed” to talk about online (healing the “unhealable”).
And so I just never posted about any of it on social media. Never made a website.
Instead I connected and shared via third-party brands I created like SOMA Mystical.
But lately I am recognizing this has been my own way of hiding. Of playing small. Of being afraid to really own and celebrate what I do and the divine information that I receive.
Much of this pause of our newsletter’s normal format has been so that I can restructure the practicalities: A new website, a new online community sanctuary, and a new tech stack to support it all.
But I’ve also been mindful to spend my personal time deeply inquiring about the type of creator I want to be now. In how I create my life, my business and content.
I’ve decided I don’t want to hide anymore. I’ve decided I want more connection.
I don’t want an audience. I want a family. A tribe. A community.
In my early years blogging and emailing in the early 2000’s (some of you may remember this because you’ve been with me that long!), I wrote the way I’m writing now.
And I realize I like being personal. Intimate. To invite you into my experience so that you might be open to inviting me into yours.
I used to love getting all the personal responses and comments to my emails and articles. Now, I guess it’ll be emails and videos and posts!
So today I’m starting with ONE STEP. One aligned action that says, “I’m showing up for this today.”
What’s one aligned step you’re taking today to stay coherent with what you want to create?
Email me your answer. I’ll respond. Let’s get the conversation going. Here or on my socials!
Here’s my first-step-post!

Also, to keep you filled up and chugging along till I check in again next week…
We look forward to reconnecting soon!
