Do this end of month cleansing ritual ✨✨

Plus, how spirituality affects health, nutrient density and more

The last day of the month is a great time to do a cleansing ritual to reset your energies and intentions for the coming month.

REFLEXOLOGY: Reflexology is a complementary therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears. These points are believed to correspond to different organs and systems in the body. 

There are a number of theories for why reflexology works: primarily focusing on its interactions with the central nervous system, and likelihood that it assists the movement of vital life force throughout the body. 🌟 

Studies show it can alleviate symptoms of conditions like migraines, arthritis, and constipation.

In fact, in this 6-month study, 55% of participants experienced relief from migraines from regular reflexology, 23% expressed no further recurrence of symptoms, and 11% stopped taking their migraine medications.

Reflexology can also reduce stress, relieve pain, improve circulation, and even boost immune function. 💆‍♀️ Plus, regular sessions can lead to enhanced mood, better sleep, and a greater sense of overall vitality. 

NUTRIENT DENSITY: In a world where empty calories reign supreme, consider shifting your focus to the true superstars of the food world - nutrient-dense foods.

These powerhouses are often used by biohackers to refine the fuel they feed their bodies for specific results.

By prioritizing nutrient density, you can reduce calories while maximizing nutritional intake of the essential vitamins, minerals, and other vital nutrients you know you need.

SPIRITUALITY, RELIGION & HEALTH: As more and more of my client requests shifted to health outcomes, illnesses and deathbed cases over the years… I had to go beyond the mystical and include a more complete understanding of the medical science to assist these physical healings. 

And so I was very interested to discover this Harvard meta-analysis published in 2022, linking spirituality with improved health outcomes.

Spirituality is how we negotiate our beliefs about the world, ourselves, a higher power, and what’s possible. It opens us up to the idea of miracles and frees us from the limitations of our trauma-informed beliefs.

Additionally, spiritual community (which can exist beyond the church as well) is linked with greater longevity, less depression and suicide, and less substance use.

❤️‍ Medical Intuitive Tip: When tracking the source or contributors to a physical symptom or situation:

  1. I get the medical and anatomical understanding of the presenting issue

  2. Look at my Clinician’s Handbook of Natural Medicine for a more holistic view

  3. Check metaphysical causes

  4. Ask the client’s spirit to show me the energy of what is most impacting them

Then I list all possible physical, mental, emotional, metaphysical and energetic causes I found, and ask the Divine to rate each one on a scale of 1 to 10 for what extent it is the primary culprit to address. 🫶

As you can see, I believe in an integrative approach where modern medicine gets a certain part of the picture and traditional or alternative approaches see another part of the picture. Then I work with the Divine to fill in the rest.
